After over a year of homelessness, living in their vehicle, Army veteran Jaimaya Jones and his family received unexpected help from U.S. Vets – Long Beach.
U.S. Vets found a three-bedroom home, and through a grant-funded program, leased the residence and placed Jones and his daughters into their new home.
In addition, U.S. Vets donated living room furniture, bedroom sets, a refrigerator, bath supplies and kitchenware. The family is now stabilized and will celebrate the coming holidays in a home.
If anyone would like to assist this veteran family or other homeless veterans, call U.S. Vets – Long Beach at (562) 200-7300 or visit usvetsinc.org for more information.
