Multiple award-winning artist Tye Tribbett along with the award winning, for KING and COUNTRY, will host the 47th Annual GMA Dove Awards, announced the Gospel Music Association (GMA).

The awards show will take place on Tuesday, October 11, at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena in Nashville. Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) will air the awards show on Sunday, October 16.

Tribbett is a singer, producer, songwriter, pastor and television host. He has sold over 1.1 million records worldwide and has won two Grammy® Awards, four Stellar Gospel Music Awards, two GMA Dove Awards and a Soul Train Music Award. Currently, Tribbett hosts BET’s “Joyful Noise” and is slated to release his sixth album, “Bloody Win,” later this year.

Jackie Patillo, GMA president and executive director, said, “I am delighted to welcome for KING & COUNTRY and Tye Tribbett to the Dove Award stage. Tye has made a tremendous impact in gospel music throughout his career, and for KING & COUNTRY has earned immense critical praise and a huge following. The GMA Dove Awards celebrate the contributions of artists from every style of Christian/Gospel music including pop, rock, praise and worship, urban gospel, R&B, hip hop, southern gospel, bluegrass, country and Latin. Over 1,600 professional members determine nominees. Winners will be voted on by the entire GMA membership of nearly 2,500.
