Isadore Hall Minimum Wage 1-20-16

Continuing to demonstrate the grassroots prowess and organizational strength behind his run for California’s 44th Congressional District seat, today State Senator Isadore Hall’s campaign secured over 100% of the votes possible in the California Democratic Party’s “Pre-Convention Caucus” delegate vote. The hard votes came down to 70 out of 70 total possible delegate votes.

Weeks ago Senator Hall announced he clinched the required 70% threshold needed to secure a formal recommendation for the state Party’s official endorsement at the upcoming California Democratic Party convention in February. Today’s announcement underscores Hall’s commanding lead in the race and his wide appeal among grassroots Democrats.

Senator Hall released the following statement following today’s delegate vote:

“These delegates are the lifeblood of our Democratic Party. They’re the ground force leaders and the foot soldiers who help get out the vote for local campaigns and win races at the ballot box. They’ve got their fingers on the pulse of our local communities and they represent all of the grassroots from every corner of the district. It is such an honor for me to have their confidence and support and I look forward to working closely with them on my campaign.”

Days ago Senator Hall won another grassroots endorsement— this from the Los Angeles County Young Democrats.
Recently, Senator Hall landed endorsements from Californians for Humane Immigrant Rights Leadership Action Fund (CHIRLA), California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce President Frank Montes* and the Los Angeles/Orange Counties Building and Construction Trades Council.
In addition to those mentioned above, Senator Hall has secured wide-ranging support from other local Democratic Clubs and Party leaders, including:

New Frontier Democratic Club
Progressive Democratic Club
San Pedro Democratic Club
Stonewall Young Democrats
California Democratic Party Chair John Burton*
California Democratic Party Chair Art Torres (Ret.)*
