The Trustee Board of Price Chapel AME Church presents its 24th Annual Singing Ministers Concert on Sunday, November 15, at 6 p.m., at 4000 W. Slauson Ave., in Los Angeles
“You don’t want to miss our fantastic line-up of participants. We will have 14 awesome, dynamic ministers singing praises to God,” said Pastor Benjamin Hollins.
“Also, our emcee will be Pres Blackmon, the legendary broadcaster known as ‘Mr. Voice.’ In addition, we are saluting one of our great supporters, the late Rev. Dr. Kenneth Breaux.”
The Rev. Mervel Warren of First New Christian Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church will participate, along with the Rev. N.W. Martin of New Life Institutional Baptist Church, the Rev. Kenneth Baker of Bethel AME in Perris, the Rev. Michael Eagle, Sr., of Grant AME in Long Beach, and the Rev. Mary Minor of Brookins-Kirkland Community AME, the Rev. T.C. Johnson of Murph Chapel AME, the Rev. Shirley LaCour of Bethel AME – LA and the Rev. Earl Gillette of Good Shepherd Baptist.
Other participants include the Rev. Magdalene Milsap of Christian Unity Missionary Baptist, Minister Brenda Caldwell of New Congregational Missionary Baptist, Pastor Barbara Johnson of Spirit of Faith World Ministries, the Rev. Clarence Devereaux of Solid Rock Missionary Baptist, the Rev. Adell McDaniel of Union Missionary Baptist Church, the Rev. Joyce Randall of First AME – LA and Missionary Earon Vermettya Rouster of St. Mark A.M.E. Church.
Virginia Damon-Carmichael is the program chairperson and Woodie Coleman is the co-chairperson.
