All roads lead to New Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church (NMC) as members prepare for their Annual Fall Revival, starting Sunday, October 11, through Thursday, October 15.
Serving as the revivalist is the Rev. Terry D. Streeter, senior pastor of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Washington D.C. According to NMC Pastor Sonja R. Dawson, his messages will highlight the theme, “This Means War,” based on Ephesians 6:10-20.
“As one of God’s highly anointed vessels, Rev. Streeter is known as a ‘teacher’s teacher.’ He uses his ministerial gifts of preaching, teaching, and evangelizing to transform the lives of men, women, boys and girls from all ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds with messages of hope, love, and Kingdom principles,” said Dr. Dawson.
“In over twenty years of pastoral ministry, Rev. Streeter has led Mount Pleasant in several transformative projects and, it is through prayer, passion and persistence that God continues to use Rev. Streeter to edify the Body of Christ and serve this present-age.”
The revival begins Sunday at the 7:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. services. During the week, the worship will start at 7 p.m.
“We invite the community at-large to join us as we become redeemed by the Word, renewed by the Holy Spirit, and restored in our purpose,” added Dr. Dawson.
