Love and Unity Christian Fellowship will celebrate its 30th Anniversary in the ministry with special appreciation services beginning Sunday, November 13, at 8 a.m., in Compton.

This is a very exciting time for the congregation as they honor their founder and his wife, Apostle and Lady Ronald C. Hill Sr., for their commitment and 30 years of labor and love in the ministry.

In November of 1981, Apostle Hill founded the Love and Unity Christian Fellowship with just his family and five church members. Since 1981, the fellowship of believers has grown to more than 3,500 members and continues to impact the Los Angeles community.

For example, Love & Unity Christian Fellowship has knocked on the door of every home in the city of Compton at least three times hoping to reach the community for Christ.

“Excitement is in the air as we celebrate 30 years in the ministry! We are rejoicing at what God is doing for Love and Unity Christian Fellowship,” said Apostle Hill.

Love and Unity invites the Los Angeles community to worship on Wednesday evenings for mid-week service and on Sundays at 8 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Apostle Hill can also be heard live on KTYM AM 1460, Monday through Friday, at 6:30 a.m.

Below is the list of planned events for the celebration.
Saturday, November 12, at 12 p.m., Celebratory Luncheon at The Centre at Sycamore Plaza in Lakewood, CA. Comedian Broderick Rice will be the special guest.
Sunday, November 13, Appreciation Service at Love and Unity. Wess Morgan will bring the message at the 8 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. worship services, and will be the special guest gospel recording artist at 4 p.m.
Sunday, November 20, Worship Services at Love and Unity with gospel recording artist Travis Green performing at the 8 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 6:30 p.m. services.
