Financial empowerment, generational wealth, business strategies and more were highlighted at the Let’s Rise Economic Summit held at CSU Dominguez Hills on Aug. 31.

Families, students, and entrepreneurs benefitted from the free symposium hosted by the Clarissa Manuel Foundation (CMF) and Smocks Media Group.  According to Shelia LeFridge, CMF president and executive director, the event fulfilled its goal of educating attendees on D.I.C.E. – discretionary income, community impact, education planning, and entrepreneurship.

“The Let’s Rise! LA County-wide Eco Summit brought together more than 20 financial experts to bring financial information, financial resources, and financial access to the residents of Los Angeles County,” explained LeFridge.
