The 3rd Annual City of Inglewood Women Rock Empowerment Summit spearheaded by Councilwoman Dionne Faulk and City Clerk Aisha Thompson brought together more than 200 ladies adorned in their Saturday best just before Mother’s Day.

The atmosphere buzzed with excitement and camaraderie as women from diverse backgrounds attended the summit that included an appearance by new Councilwoman Gloria Gray, a keynote message by Los Angeles County Supervisor Holly Mitchell and interactive workshops covering mental health awareness, skincare wellness, creative self-love, and generational wealth building.

Liliana Perez, senior director of Cultural Affairs for the Los Angeles Chargers, opened the afternoon session with a motivational message.  The summit concluded with uplifting words from Grammy-winning gospel singer Erica Campbell.  A native of Inglewood, Campbell wowed the audience with heartfelt stories of growing up in the city, balancing being a celebrity and raising a family, and dropping a new Grammy nominated album while inspiring women to embrace their dreams and achieve.
