Beverly Ann Clark said her final farewell March 22, 2021.
The proud mother of three was the sole proprietor of BA Clark Realty established as HM Clark Realty by her late husband Hosea M Clark in the 1970s. You may have noticed the small yet busy building on the corner of Slauson and Overhill Drive in Windsor Hills, California. Throughout the years this brokerage was home to numerous sales associates. Beverly sold and listed hundreds of properties throughout her career. She was instrumental in “getting the deal done” for many more. If you wanted to buy or sale, she was determined to make it happen. Beverly was passionate about property ownership. She was proud of her family being property owners for four generations. The home built by her grandfather in Los Angeles is still owned by the family. Beverly, enjoying the fruits of her labor, was a world traveler. Highlights were visits to Cuba, Hong Kong, Dubai, and Saudi Arabia. Mostly, she relished returning to the motherland where she visited over a dozen African countries. She enjoyed, gardening, crocheting and she could dance with the best.
She loved spending time with family. She would have “Grandma Day”, the first Sunday of each month. Her grandchildren and those who affectionally called her Nana would play games, do crafts, share a meal and talk about their goals. “Don’t forget your gift” she would say as they left. Beverly, mom, grandmother, nana, sister, auntie birdie, cousin, friend and colleague, will be greatly missed.
