Bryan Popin released his newest single, “Beautiful Savior” featuring Tasha Page-Lockhart, on March 13. A three-time Stellar Award-nominated singer, songwriter and producer, Popin’s song reveals his passion for worshipping God.
“Beautiful Savior,” written by Popin, joins his catalogue of top songs such as “I Got Out,” “Step in the Name,” “Such a Time as This,” “All Back” and “I Can Make It.” And the gifted artist firmly believes that the track will resonate with listeners who appreciate God’s favor in their life.
“I am incredibly thankful for His grace and mercy. When I think back on my life, I see so many second, third, and fourth chance situations where I should’ve deserved this, or I should’ve gotten this,” said Popin.
“I shouldn’t even be where I am today. There are so many blessings in my life where His grace and mercy covered me, protected me, sheltered me, saved me and changed me. I wanted to share with others how I got out, how I took it all back and how His grace and mercy allowed me to not lose my mind, my wife, my kids, my life,” he declared.
“It lit a passion for my calling to help and encourage others beyond the four walls of the church and beyond one race of people. I learned to worship through my mess and re-prioritize. Worship is the key to surrendering our control and allowing God to take over the battles we face in life. By doing this, we are releasing our faith into our current situation or battle knowing that God is working all things out for our good.”
Born in Middletown, New Jersey, Popin was a piano protégé by his early teens. Later in his career, the legendary Stevie Wonder nicknamed him the “Little Boy Wonder.” He has appeared several times with Bishop T.D Jakes as well as written with R&B legend Chaka Khan and American Idol alum Danny Gokey. Also, Popin has earned five Billboard Top Gospel Radio Top 25 songs, a 2018 ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Award, #1 Billboard independent album (“I Got Out,” 2017), and three Stellar Gospel Music Award nominations.
