Mothers take center stage on Sunday, May 12, at Love, Peace and Happiness Family Christian Fellowship Church. According to Bishop Leon and Dr. Jacqueline Martin, pastor and first lady, three services will held on Mother’s Day at the ministry’s two locations to celebrate the caring hands of women caregivers.
At 8 a.m., worship will take place at the edifice located at 400 S. Santa Fe Ave., in Compton. The Los Angeles congregation will hold services at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., in the sanctuary at 4951 S. Figueroa St. Flowers and gifts will presented to every mother at each service.
“We invite the public to fellowship with us at these life-changing worship services. Also, we will have a special gift for the mother with the most children and family members in attendance,” said Bishop Martin. “We will see you at the gathering!”
