On Sunday, March 24, 2019, over 1,100 Angelino millennials paced The Fields LA located at Exposition Park for Brunch 2 Bomb. The brunch is a monthly gathering of professional millennials; it features a black-owned vendor garden and plays host to influential members of the African American community. This month delivered in a big way with guests Rep. Maxine Waters and Boxing legend Sugar Shane Mosley.
Rep. Waters spoke for about five minutes and told the anxious crowd, “Utilize your voice and your power in the upcoming elections!”
The Brunch marked the largest to date for co-founders Adrienne Reed and Benjamin Walker. The two entrepreneurs launched the monthly experience to provide a low frills environment where Angelino’s could commune.
The event has fostered business relationships and exposed Los Angeles residents and guests to new venues throughout the Los Angeles area.
Adrienne Reed, Co-Founder Brunch 2 Bomb, said: “We are delighted to play host to Rep. Maxine Waters and Sugar Shane. Having them come out to enjoy and support Brunch 2 Bomb meant to much to the millennial Angeleno’s in attendance.”
The Fields of LA has hosted Brunch 2 Bomb for two consecutive brunches. Each event has hosted more than 1,000 attendees each time. Located adjacent to the state-of-the-art Banc of California Stadium, home of the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC), The Fields LA brings a new casual dining/drinking option to the Exposition Park area just a few miles east of Downtown L.A.
Benjamin Walker said:“Having our guests of various backgrounds, from various walks of life, from your accountants, attorneys, and creatives all coming together to enjoy their time with us each month makes us extremely happy to work on Brunch 2 Bomb. The Fields of LA have provided us with a tremendous home and we are grateful for their partnership and amazing service.”
