To celebrate the 50th US Open Tennis Championships to be played later this summer, members of the Pete Brown Junior Tennis Program, a local National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) Chapter, and representatives from the United States Tennis Association and longtime US Open partner Chase, took part in the unveiling of Art Courts at the Harvard Tennis Park on May 31.
Open to the general public, the Art Courts at Harvard Tennis Park were designed by L.A. based artist, Charlie Edmiston. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Charlie Edmiston began his career as a graffiti artist working in a variety of styles and mediums, including colorful hard-edge paintings, large-scale murals, and bold design graphics.
