A legacy of providing vital health information to the women of Southern California communities continues at 18th Annual KJLH Women’s Health Expo. This important event will take place on Saturday April 28 at the Long Beach Convention Center. Now in its 18th year, the KJLH Women’s Health Expo kicks off at 8am with a panel discussion that will be broadcast live on KJLH Radio (102.3 FM). Those in attendance will have a full and complete day that informs, educates, rejuvenates and encourages women to lead and maintain healthy lifestyles. Informative breakout sessions will focus on a variety of health topics ranging from cardio, diabetes and breast cancer information to lifestyle and relationship issues, providing answers to health questions the women may have. Additionally there is a Natural Hair session and a holistic health awareness section, giving the women complete and thorough access to health information from a variety of perspectives.
The informative breakout sessions are underscored by the hundreds of vendors on display in the main Expo Hall.
The KJLH Women’s Health Expo highlights include:
- Live broadcast featuring a panel of health experts from a variety of disciplines. Hosted by Adai Lamar of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- Natural Hair Discussion and demonstrations including a sessions on balding, Alopecia & more. Hosted by KJLH Air Personality Kameron Greene
- Healthy Cooking demosntration with KJLH Air personality Tammi Mac along with Renowned actress Wendy Raquel Robinson
- Holistic Health hosted by KJLH Air Personality Dominique DiPrima
- Exercise Zone featuring workouts from Zumba, kickboxing and more
- KJLH Air Personality Nautica De La Cruz will present a Skincare demonstration/breakout
- Prizes and Giveaways all day long including a trip to New Orleans for the 2018 Essence Festival presented by Coca Cola; a trip to See Earth Wind and Fire at the Venetian in Las Vegas, thousands of dollars in gift cards and so much more!
The KJLH Women’s Health Expo is expected to attract more than 10,000 women to the Long Beach Convention Center located at 300 Ocean Blvd. in the City of Long Beach.
Parking is available at modest cost in the immediate and surrounding areas while the Long Beach Passport offers free shuttles to the steps of the Long Beach Convention Center. The Metro Blue Line train rolls directly into Long Beach from Los Angeles and Cities and communities north. Just get off at 1st Street and walk one block to the Long Beach Convention Center.
