Inglewood Park Cemetery announces the launch of its new community resource educational lecture series TouchStones, which will present free programs that provide useful information in topics ranging from estate protection and preplanning final arrangements to a complement of timely lifestyle programs. As a community service of Inglewood Park Cemetery, the lectures will be offered free to attendees.

Inglewood Park will partner with local industry experts to create and present the lectures. The premier lecture will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017 at Inglewood Park’s Celebrations of Life Resource Center on its campus located at 720 W. Florence Ave.

Titled “Wills. Trusts. Planning Ahead.” the program will cover essential areas of estate planning, family home protection, and preserving children’s inheritance, presented by Attorney Caprice L. Collins, of the Collins Law Group. Inglewood Park senior family counselors will also discuss valuable planning ahead strategies and benefits that provide tools for documenting your wishes and taking advantage of cost benefits related to preplanning final arrangements.

“We help families through very difficult times every day. It has been our experience that we can further help to alleviate some of the emotional and financial stress that families experience as they lose a loved one by sharing information that allows them to prepare in advance and make planning decisions when emotions are not at their peak. This information can impact maintaining healthy family relationships and relieving financial burdens. Our lecture series will focus on the areas of loving, living, learning, and leaving a legacy, the aspects of life that affect us all,” said Inglewood Park Cemetery CEO Rick Miller. “As a part of our community stewardship, our goal is to provide useful information that will benefit families both in the short-and long-term, as well as content that can be easily shared with family members who will also benefit from the knowledge,” Miller added.
