R&B legend Thelma Houston brings “My Motown Memories and More” to Los Angeles with a concert set for Sunday, Oct. 15, at 7:30 p.m., at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center, 4708 W. Washington Street in Los Angeles.

The Grammy Award-winning artist will chronicle her 50-year musical career by singing classic Motown hits highlighted with intimate stories and behind-the-scenes adventures.

Houston’s performance will include songs originally recorded by Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, as well as her top international hit “Don’t Leave Me This Way”. Special guests are Quattrosound and Johnny Britt.

The concert will be directed by Iona Morris and choreographed by Damita Freeman. The musical director is Darrell Alston.

Chris Isaacson Presents and the City of Los Angeles previously scheduled the concert for the Ford Amphitheatre; however, all previously purchased Ford Amphitheatre tickets will be honored for the Oct. 15 date.
