In a new survey of 2,000 working Americans that took a close look at the perceptions and racial disparities surrounding taking sick time. While the COVID-19 pandemic has Americans taking their health more seriously than ever, half of respondents feel discouraged by their workplace to call out to take care of themselves when feeling under the weather.
The virus called SARS-COV2, causes a disease known as COVID-19 which is having a historical and unprecedented impact across the globe. Because this transformative pandemic has touched or altered everyone in the world’s life or lifestyle the return to normalcy is but a faded memory.
“Sexual bullies” (if I may coin a term) give me the creeps and I don’t want to be around them.
I’m not ever, ever, ever going to excuse sexual perfidy (and more) in the workplace, but I do wonder why we can wink, nod, and grin about racial workplace misbehavior while we stand our ground about gender.
