The longest serving female member of Walker Temple AME Church marked her 101st birthday with a banquet at the edifice on Jan. 27. Pastor Marvin L. McKenzie saluted Mother Winnie C. Stringer, who also received tributes from her family, friends and Walker Temple members. “God has blessed us with Mother Stringer and each day is a testament of His grace and faithfulness, she is God’s jewel and our reminder of a wonderful Creator,” said McKenzie. Brookins Reflects on Her Service to God and His Church

God has abundantly blessed the ministry of the Rev. Dr. Rosalynn Kyle Brookins since she answered His call to preach 14 years ago. The wife of the late Bishop H.H.
