Winnie Stringer marked her 100th birthday with a joyous party on Jan. 25 arranged by Pastor Rosalynn K. Brookins and the members of Walker Temple AME Church in Los Angeles. With family and friends joining the celebration, Stringer enjoyed lots of well wishes, gifts and a five-course meal at Walker Temple where she has been a member for 64 years.
