AME Community Lenten Caravan hosted by eight AME churches continues on March 27, at 7 p.m., at Brookins-Kirkland Community AME, 3719 W. Slauson Ave., in Los Angeles, said host Pastor Mary S. Minor. Pastor Carolyn Baskin-Bell of Second AME will preach. Three more services leading up to Resurrection Sunday will be held to provide spiritual renewal for believers. Walker Temple AME Church holds Stewards and Trustees Day on March 24, at 3 p.m., at 2525 Trinity St., in Los Angeles, said Pastor Marvin McKenzie, Sr. The theme is “Who’s Next” based on Acts 1:21-22.
