From free backpacks filled with school supplies to nutrition and safety information, Mothers In Action (MIA), the stalwart community group, held its 24th annual Back to School Health Fair on August 13, at Exposition Park.
Musicians In Action, Inc. (MIA), an inter-denominational musician’s organization, in partnership with the Music and Arts Department of Faithful Central Bible Church, will host its annual Drum Clinic, on Saturday, June 11.
Mothers In Action gave toys and gift cards to more than 450 young people in South L.A. through its Angel Tree Christmas Project. Also, three daycare facilities, several families and 100 homeless individuals received a range of much-needed supplies.
