NBA’s Playoff Game Boycotts Sparks Domino Effect Across Major League Sports Amidst Jacob Blake Shooting

The Milwaukee Bucks took a historic stand by electing not to play in the scheduled Wednesday Game 5 of the NBA Playoff series versus the Orlando Magic to boycott police brutality and specifically boycott the treatment of Jacob S. Blake, a 29-year-old American Black man who was shot in the back seven times by a Kenosha police officer that left him paralyzed earlier on Sunday.

Dodgers Extend Winning Streak to Seven Games

There were two great pitching performances by Dodgers Tony Gonsolin and Mariners Marco Gonzales. Base runs were difficult to come by, and teams were scoreless until the sixth inning. Families in the community needed resources in these trying times. Puig, and Mayor Brown did an outstanding job of calling out businesses to ban together and help people with goods.

The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) is aiding the families of their Dodgers RBI baseball and softball players by hosting a Dodgers Day Drive-Thru presented by ARCO. Saturday marked the first of five Drive-Thrus where registered Dodgers RBI players are given food, resources and treats while social distancing.

Heartbreaking series loss for Dodgers in NLDS

The Dodgers were down for the first few innings, then took off like a rocket with 7 runs in the 6th inning and took complete control of the game.. Dodgers Cody Bellinger says “we’ve been doing it all year. 9th inning, 6th inning, 7th inning, we are not going to stop grinding. That’s why we’ve been successful all year.” You would have thought it was Friday night at the Dodgers stadium. They never look back.
