Keep our Shops on the Block Launches Digital Accelerator Program for Diverse Small Businesses

Following the success of the Keep Our Shops on the Block grant earlier this year, which deployed financial aid to 481 small brick-and-mortar businesses in the retail and personal care sector, the Local Initiatives Support Corporation Los Angeles (LISC LA) has expanded the program and the services offered and launched an invite-only digital literacy accelerator for diverse-owned businesses.

Gavin Newsom on his commitment to cultivating a business climate in which businesses can grow and prosper, as well as his fiscally responsible proposed State budget. Gov. Newsom entered office with an estimated $14.8 billion budget surplus and his proposed budget is said to be one of the largest in recent State history.

17th annual convention helps thousands of local, low-income students plan for college and maximize federal and state financial aid  The Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with its affiliate, UNITE-LA, will provide college preparation, financial aid and scholarship training to more than 6,000 students who attend their 17th annual College & Career Convention.
