Dr. Melina Abdullah is a professor of Pan-African Studies at California State University, Los Angeles and an outspoken advocate for police reform. Los Angeles City Councilwoman Nury Martinez, LAPD Deputy Chief Kris Pitcher, and LAPD Lieutenant Marc Evans announced the official three-year anniversary of the formation of the Operations-Valley Bureau Human Trafficking Task Force and the staggering results the impact has made in the northeast San Fernando Valley.
