Hidden Genius Project Sponsors 12th Annual Brothers Code Event

A local nonprofit, The Hidden Genius Project, hosted its 12th Annual Brothers Code event at Inglewood High School on Dec. 14, to expose youth and adults of color to technology career pathways, culminating National Computer Science Education Week.

Student Athlete of the Week: Zoie Dupree

Senior Zoie Dupree plays volleyball for the Inglewood Sentinels. She also competed for the club team the South Central Starlings.  Along with sharpening her techniques in the sport, she also learned key lessons in leadership. She was a captain and the head coach of her club volleyball team.

Student Athlete of the Week: Kenyon Agurs

Recent Inglewood graduate Kenyon Agurs is heading to Colorado State University to contribute to their football team in the fall. Agurs was named “Mr. Inglewood” after competing in basketball, football, and track and field during his high school career.

Student Athlete of the Week: Adam Singh

Inglewood senior dual-sport student athlete Adam Singh has a competitive spirit and knows how to find opportunities to better himself. Along with playing point guard on the boys’ basketball team, he runs the 100m and the 200m for the track and field team.
