Statement From Danny Bakewell Sr. Regarding Leaked Audio of L.A. City Council President and Members

“I have not heard any of the comments attributed to Nury Martinez.  I am currently seeking a copy of the audio.  All I can say is I’ve never heard Nury make any racist comments about her colleagues or anyone else for that matter.  If these statements are true they are completely unacceptable indefensible and must be dealt with immediately!
