The California Science Center will launch a new “Journey to Space: The Exhibition” Thursday October 29, and start screening a film called “Journey to Space 3D.” The exhibition examines the environment of space, including the hazards faced by astronauts. It features a large-scale interactive “Destiny Lab,” in which guests can experience the disorientation of spaceflight. It also features games, and shows footage of real crew members aboard the International Space Station. In the IMAX theater, the film explores the past and future of human space travel and showcases the existing challenges. The exhibit continues through Dec. 18. The museum —
