On Monday, he released a second slate of endorsements for Democrats running for offices ranging from local to national, bringing the total to more than 300. City Council Approves the Name Change of ‘Rodeo Road’ to ‘Obama Boulevard’
The City Council closed out their August meeting with a vote of a lifetime. Last month, members of the council were asked to vote on changing the street name “Rodeo Road” to “Obama Boulevard” after Los Angeles City Council president Herb Wesson motioned for the rename back in 2017.

President Obama Heads to Orange County for Mid-Term Rally

Use of the ‘N-Word’ is Far From the Only Measure of Racism
Omarosa Manigault Newman, the president’s former aide, claims there is a tape of him using the vile racial slur. White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said she “can’t guarantee” that a tape doesn’t exist. Trump tweeted, “I don’t have that word in my vocabulary.” The press pursued the question as if this would establish for one and for all whether Trump is a racist.
Los Angeles NAACP Supports Ridley-Thomas’ African American Voter Efforts
USC said it turned the matter over to the feds because the School forwarded the donation to the United Ways of California, directing it be used for an African American voter research project run by his son, former California Assemblyman Sebastian Ridley-Thomas.
