It seems to me the only problem which confronts our nation and the world is the lack of introspection (looking into self) and that of each individual’s conscience. Everybody’s got a heart problem. It’s about tolerating the weaknesses of others. It’s about taking the eye of the mind and searching deeply within the heart. If everyone thinks they are perfect, that’s problematic. If millions think they’re right and put them all together, that makes a more compiled wrong, but the problem could be the same: a heart problem; a problem for one multiplied exponentially becomes overwhelming. What’s concerning is that the U.S. might have a “massive heart attack or a massive heart failure,” if it’s not already happening! Fifty per-cent (50%) think their thinking is right and the other fifty per-cent (50%) thinks they’re right. That in itself indicates a head on “clash” of beliefs, opinions and convictions. We need a “comma” [not a coma].

A comma would be a pause to evaluate the situation. The coronavirus has provided a “comma,” a pause. It has given millions the opportunity to think about the direction of our lives and not take everything for granted. Hurricane “Laura” also says, “Stop!” “Wait a minute!” Isn’t this more than coincidence? Isn’t there a message to us in the coronavirus, hurricanes, storms, tsunamis, floods, wars…?    We’re not just bystanders on the side of the road watching as the winds swoosh by as the tornedoes loom. If you’re a bible reader and believer, the message is the foretelling of the return of Christ. Are we listening? Are we ready? If we are forewarned, these signs tell us there is some thing or some things bigger coming. (We don’t know when.) What do we say to these things? Or do we just ignore what is going on? OR are we lulling ourselves right on into socialism? I haven’t found the United States as being a survivor among the nations in the bible.

In my humble opinion, we need to make adjustments. One group or the other group thinking they “own” the United States and all that is therein is self-defeating. No one group owns the United States. Probably wouldn’t be a bad idea to go to the “heart searcher” and “heart changer” to look into selfish hearts. Here’s another thing, “We need to take ownership of the roles of those who have built this country.” It’s certainly not only one group or one kindred which built this country. If we’re doing something and it hasn’t worked, we need to change…search hearts. I will take this opportunity to say something about faith. Faith doesn’t have to be begged of God.

You activate your faith by speaking it, believing it. By hearing words of faith, speaking it, your faith is activated. Believing must be alive. It’s not you pull on God’s robe. The woman who had the long term sickness, who had visited doctors “believed” that just by “touching” the hem of His garment, she would be healed. And that is what happened. She had heard about Jesus’ miraculous healing power. She found out where He would be. She pressed her way. She was an activated woman of faith. Her problem had gotten so bad, she became proactive. She believed, she touched and the end result was she was “healed.” I’ll leave you with these words. Activate your faith by believing that whatsoever you believe in Jesus name so shall it be. Be reminded, God’s timetable is God’s timetable.
