Phil Thompson’s freshman solo album, “My Worship,” debuted at #1 on Billboard Top Gospel Albums Sales Chart on May 16, and entered at #2 on Billboard Top Gospel Albums Consumption Chart (which includes digital and streaming).

The 11-track album features guest appearances by Nia Allen and Shana Wilson Williams. The album’s title track, “My Worship,” has capturd international attention, generating over three million audio and visual streams to date. Also, the song amassed over one million views on YouTube in two months.

With his debut solo project and the impact of its title track, Thompson said he desires nothing more than to offer up a daily sacrifice to his Savior, while guiding everyone to do the same, believing that every person of faith has a unique worship crafted by their own life experiences that God desires.

Thompson, a Boston, MA native, was the main songwriter inking acclaimed songs like “Praise His Name,” “Your Masterpiece,” and “Love lifted Me”(recorded by JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise). He is also the worship leader at Jubilee Christian Church.

Though Thompson has been singing since childhood, it wasn’t until he was 30 years old that he discovered a gifting for writing music.
