Pacific Clinics recently announced that Richard Dominguez has been named chair of its board of directors for 2019. Jessica Mack, principal manager for Southern California Edison, was named first vice chair.
Dominguez, principal of Richard Dominguez & Associates, had previously served as first vice chair of the Pacific Clinics board. Dominguez takes over leadership of the board from Gregory A. Bowman, EdD.
James Balla, president and CEO of Pacific Clinics, commended both Dominguez and Mack for their leadership skills, their keen understanding of operations and fundraising, and their commitment to community.
“Richard is a strong choice to lead our board of directors,” Balla said. “His experience with our organization and professional expertise is key as we strive to meet the emerging needs of the diverse communities we serve. We anticipate many successes with Richard at the helm, supported by the infusion of energy and direction brought by Jessica and other leaders.”
Balla also highlighted new board member Dena Oberst. Oberst is president and CEO of Gable Tax Consulting Group, Inc. Dena will chair the fund development committee.
“We’re very grateful for Dena’s strong financial background and leadership,” said Balla.
