Thanks to the Tull Family Foundation a commemorative statue will be made of of Pasadena’s favorite son Jackie Robinson who broke the color line with the then Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947. Jackie lettered in four sports at John Muir High, Pasadena City College and UCLA. Jackie was voted the MVP of Pasadena CC team in 1938 and was an all-conference quarterback in a victory vs. Cal Tech. That season Jackie ran a kick-off, back 104-yards for a TD. This is still believed to be the longest return for a TD in the history of the Rose Bowl. Thanks to Alba and Thomas Tull who wrote: “We are so honored to be able to recognize his legacy in a town and for a team that meant so much to him and the Rose Bowl Family.” Amen!

Now if the Cavs are 0-2 against the GSWs by the time you read this they will in my book be swept right out of the Championship
Finals.
