Twelve Los Angeles Sports Teams Unite to Donate in Support of Those Impacted By L.A. Fires

As the people of Los Angeles and its surrounding communities begin the long recovery from the region’s devastating fires, 12 professional sports organizations – Angel City FC, the Angels, Chargers, Clippers, Dodgers, Ducks, Galaxy, Kings, LAFC, Lakers, Rams and Sparks – have pledged a combined donation of more than $8 million to support victims in need, as well as those fighting the fires.

The Los Angeles Dodgers were unable to go 2-0 in Game Two of the NLCS. The Mets battled throughout the contest, securing a 7-3 win. This was a bullpen game for the Dodgers, their pitchers included Landon Knack, Brent Honeywell, and Edgardo Henriquez.

Dodgers Made Big Plays, Win Game One of NLCS 9-0

This was a historic night for the Boys in Blue as they now tied the postseason scoreless inning record with 33 innings. They now share the record with the 1966 Baltimore Orioles. Dodgers general manager Dave Roberts noted how reaching the record is “a collective effort.”
