TV Personality Lavar Ball stopped by the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to personally donate three truckloads of Big Baller Brand Water, volunteer, and learn more about the food bank’s mission.
“We sincerely appreciate the three truckloads of water that Lavar and Big Baller Brand donated to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank today,” said Roger Castle, Chief Development Officer at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. “We are thankful to Lavar for personally delivering the 14,000 cases of water, and volunteering his time to help us sort food and raise awareness for our mission to end hunger in Los Angeles County.”
According to a study done by the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research, approximately 1 in 5 people living in LA County struggle with food insecurity. The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank distributes more than one million pounds of food each week and serves more than 300,000 people each month. The 70,500 Big Baller Brand Water bottles donated today will provide the food bank with emergency water supply and help support their other ongoing efforts throughout the community.
“I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and I’m extremely grateful to have the opportunity to give back to this community,” said Lavar Ball, CEO and Founder of Big Baller Brand. “Thank you to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank for all of the amazing work you do in the community.”
Big Baller Brand Water is 100 percent pure alkaline water filled with active electrolytes and is nitrate-free. It’s sourced in Lithuania and bottled in the United States. Big Baller Brand Water launched in early 2019 and can be found in select retailers throughout Southern California.
