Brookins-Kirkland Community AME Church will host Family and Friends Day on Sunday, Sept. 18, at 9 a.m. The theme is “Reaching the Masses in the 21st Century” based on Matthew 28:19-20. Pastor Roderick Walker of New Mount Zion Church will be the guest preacher.

The virtual revival will open on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m., with Pastor Joyce Kitchen of Emmanuel-H.M. Turner AME Church as the revivalist. On Wednesday, Sept. 21, at 7 p.m., Pastor Carolyn Baskin-Bell of First AME Church- Santa Monica will preach and on Thursday, Sept. 22, at 7 p.m., Pastor Marvin McKenzie of Walker Temple AME Church will bring the message.
