The Community Lenten Caravan (CLC) continues to convene hybrid worship services in greater Los Angeles on each Wednesday, at 7 p.m., leading up to Resurrection Sunday, April 9.
According to the Rev. Dr. Kelvin T. Calloway, CLC organizer, the virtual and in-person services are hosted by seven AME churches and held to provide spiritual renewal for believers and raise funds to assist two local nonprofits.
Ward AME Church will host the service on March 22, in the edifice at 1177 W. 25th Street in Los Angeles. The Rev. Dr. Barry Settle is the host pastor and the Rev. Darryl E. Walker, pastor of New Philadelphia AME Church, will bring the message.
