God’s Closet is a non-profit organization that provides new and gently used CHILDREN’S CLOTHES to community families. All of our clothes are free. Once a quarter we invite families to our FREE SHOP DAY, which will be on March 12, from 10:00AM to 1:00PM; registration starts at 9:00AM. Families can select items for their children ages newborn-to-teenager from our selection of donated clothes. We collect and distribute children’s clothes, shoes and bedding ONLY (crib sheets, receiving blankets etc). We do not accept any type of child related items such as car seats, play pens, toys, stuffed animals etc. Our events happen only once every three months and that is the only time parents are able to ‘shop’. Dates and times are posted on our Facebook page 3 months in in advance. God’s Closet also welcomes community volunteers. Volunteering is always fun at God’s Closet. Volunteers must work a required 2 hours, in order to ‘shop’. Additional volunteer information is provided on our Facebook page or upon request. Free childcare is offered for children ages newborn to 10 years old. Children 11 and older must be accompanied by an adult. We are ALWAYS in need of donations.
