High school students can register now for the free SAT-prep workshop to be held Saturday, November 10, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the conference center at Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Hills-Crenshaw Medical Offices, 3782 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90008. The workshop provides instruction and tutoring for all sections. A 30-minute practice test will be held at 8:30 a.m.
The workshop is sponsored by the Al Wooten Jr. Youth Center in partnership with UCLA, Educate California, Study Smart Tutors, Los Angeles Metropolitan Churches and SPMG Media. It is funded by Kaiser Permanente, the UCLA Kaiser Center for Health Equity, United Way of Greater Los Angeles, Green Foundation, Bank of America Charitable Foundation, KROQ Radio and other donors.
