Advance tickets for the comedy lounge are available for purchase online with drink options and table reservations. The proceeds will go to MIA for activities that aid youth and seniors, and to the She Ready Foundation (SRF), which aid underprivileged girls and young women.

The She Ready Foundation inspires, protects, and provides resources to youth impacted by foster care. Founded by comedian, actress, and philanthropist, Tiffany Haddish understands the intense pressure some experience coming in and transitioning out of the foster care system. The foundation is currently raising funds to assist foster youth to gain employment and guidance through their mentorship program.

“This year we’re excited to present the She Ready Comedy Lounge & Beer Garden at Brenda Marsh-Mitchell Square. A portion of this year’s proceeds will be shared with Tiffany Haddish’s She Ready Foundation.”

Mitchell added, “To know that the legacy of my mother and the founding president of Taste of Soul, Brenda Marsh-Mitchell lives on through Taste of Soul and her legacy of giving continues to bless others and it makes my heart smile!”
