Youth Orchestra Los Angeles Finds Permanent Home in Inglewood

Beckmen Center, the first Youth Orchestra Los Angeles program (YOLA) located in the heart of Inglewood; dedicated to the elite musical training of local youth, channeling the musical excellence of the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Marla Gibbs (born Margaret Theresa Bradley; June 14, 1931) is an actress, singer, comedian, writer and television producer, whose career spans five decades. Marla celebrated her birthday at Peter Georges’ Conference Room Restaurant & Bar in Playa Vista and the party was sponsored by family friend and businessman Henry Woods, founder of HNW International Corporation, an international Consulting/Connector Firm, along with Lemuel Daniels, Peter George, and others.

Davis came from the streets of Chicago IL where she was raised by her mom who had four other children. Like many young people living in urban environments, Davis’ dad battled with drug addiction which is why he has been in and out of her life.

What I understood — then — that he was a man of activism and that he would use his creative skills to make a difference and open doors for people that look like us.

Oscar’s Producer Jeannae Rouzan-Clay Reflects on 10 Years in Entertainment    

The key to long-term development with a production company is lifting people up, while climbing yourself; the VP of Specials expressed the benefits of staying committed to a growing legacy. Rouzan-Clay elaborated on her thoughts of working with Jesse Collins, who she met when stationed at John Cossette Productions. Rouzan-Clay said, “He’s always been good about wanting to elevate women of color specifically.”

Zay-B has plans on being a triple threat.  He is currently a sophomore at Life Pacific University in San Dimas, California where he is studying Worship Arts.  He says school is helping him to perfect his talents as a musician, while at the same time he is working on strengthening his vocals and even wants to follow in his father’s footsteps one day and take a shot at acting.
