The Debbie Allen Dance Academy (DADA) presents the annual ‘DADA On Pointe’ Ballet Intensive April 8th – April 12th, 2017. This year, featured guest artists include Lauren Anderson, former principal of the Houston Ballet, and Dusty Button, a principal dancer with the Boston Ballet. Intermediate to advanced students ages 8 to 25 with at least three years of Classical Ballet training are invited to register. Students will have the unique opportunity to study with unrivaled world class ballet masters from Russia and the United States in Ballet, Pointe, Character, Men’s Technique, Variations, Modern, Graham, Jazz and Contemporary Repertoire, as well as Ballet History. This year’s DADA faculty and special guest artists include: Lauren Anderson (Houston Ballet), Dusty Button (Boston Ballet), Debbie Allen (Broadway), Rasta Thomas (Bad Boys of Dance), Clifford Williams (Complexions), Madame Giana Jiarghan (Bolshoi), Madame Alla Khaniashvili (Bolshoi), Vitaly Artiushkin (Bolshoi), Karen McDonald (DADA Academy Director), and Ina Haybaeck-Rogers (Austrian Theatrical Federation).
