April 9th brought the illustrious grand opening of the Rhimes Performing Arts Center (RPAC) by the Debbie Allen Dance Academy (DADA).
Hundreds of local residents gathered at the plaza to partake in gourmet food truck pleasantries and to see the free concert
The academy trains youth dancers in Ballet, Tap, Modern African, Jazz Hip Hop, and Flamenco.
Apr. 8-12 The Debbie Allen Dance Academy (DADA) presents the annual ‘DADA On Pointe’ Ballet Intensive April 8th – April 12th, 2017. This year, featured guest artists include Lauren Anderson, former principal of the Houston Ballet, and Dusty Button, a principal dancer with the Boston Ballet. Intermediate to advanced students ages 8 to 25 with at least three years of Classical Ballet training are invited to register. Students will have the unique opportunity to study with unrivaled world class ballet masters from Russia and the United States in Ballet, Pointe, Character, Men’s Technique, Variations, Modern, Graham, Jazz and Contemporary Repertoire,
