Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts Presents Colors of Christmas With Peabo Bryson, Taylor Dayne, Jon Secada, and Deniece Williams on Sat., December 8, 8:00 PM

The Cerritos Center of the Performing Arts (CCPA) welcomes back the spirited COLORS OF CHRISTMAS celebration with a medley of seasonal and Pop tunes. This annual celebration features two-time Grammy winner Peabo Bryson headlining a talented lineup, which includes Taylor Dane, Jon Secada, and Deniece Williams. They deliver greatest hits and yuletide songs individually and collectively in this CCPA audience favorite. The performance takes place at 8:00 PM on Saturday, December 8. Renowned R&B and Soul singer PEABO BRYSON has rocked music charts with the No. One song “If Ever You’re in My Arms Again”; “By the Time This Night Is Over”; “What You Won’t Do for Love,” a duet with Natalie Cole; and “Tonight I Celebrate My Love,” a collaboration with Roberta Flack. His recent single, “Love Like Yours & Mine,” from his new album “Stand for Love,” debuted in the Top Five on Billboard’s Adult R&B Chart.

Cited by Billboard for his “premier silky” vocals, Bryson won Grammys for his duet with Céline Dion, “Beauty and the Beast,”and his Oscar-winning duet with Regina Belle, “A Whole New World,” from the hit movie “Aladdin.” Throughout his career, Bryson has amassed a faithful fan base, critical acclaim, Gold albums, and a plethora of awards and honors for a long string of popular hits, including “Count on Me,” “I Promise I Do,” “Don’t Make Me Cry,” and the stirring 2007 song “Missing You,” which became an anthem for the U.S. troops stationed in Iraq.

TAYLOR DAYNEhas sold more than 75 million albums and singles worldwide and has acted in films, on television, and on Broadway. The three-time Grammy nominee’s No. One hits include “Tell It to My Heart, Love Will Lead You Back,” “Prove Your Love to Me,” and the Top 10 tunes “Beautiful” and “Floor on Fire.” The songstress’s stage credit includes Elton John’s “Aida,” and she appeared on Warren Beatty’s film remake of “Love Affair.” Dayne’s television work consists of roles on “Rude Awakening” and “NightMan.”

Grammy winner JON SECADA, who began his music career as a backup singer-songwriter for Miami Sound Machine, is known for the hits “Just Another Day, Do You Believe in Us?”, “Angel, and Window to My Heart.” Secada has sold more than 20 million albums and was christened the “Best-Selling Latin-American Recording Artist” by the World Music Awards. The Orange County Register called him the “first Latin male crossover sensation [who] helped pave the way for the likes of Ricky Martin.” Secada has starred on Broadway’s hit musical “Grease,” “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” and “Cabaret.”

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter-record producer DENIECE WILLIAMS released the album “Let’s Hear It for the Boy” in 1984. The title track reached No. One on the Billboard Hot 100 and was featured on the soundtrack to “Footloose.” The song was Williams’ biggest Pop hit of her career – and the last. The songstress is more celebrated for her accomplishments in the Soul-Funk genre, receiving Grammys for the Gospel album “This Is My Song” and the Gospel songs “I Believe in You, They Say” and “I Surrender All.”
