Southern Christian Leadership Conference of Southern California and the Black Jewish Alliance presents the Heschel/King Forum – Confronting White Supremacy on Nov. 3, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Holman United Methodist Church, 3320 W. Adams Blvd., in Los Angeles, said Pastor William Smart, SCLC president. The Rev. James Lawson and Rabbi Sharon Brous will be the keynote speakers. Founder’s Church of Religious Science and Dr. Arthur Chang, senior minister, appear on KCET’s “Lost L.A.” series on Nov. 5, at 8:30 p.m. The program will highlight the work of pioneering African American architect, Paul R. Williams, who designed Founder’s edifice, Second Baptist Church and the LAX Theme building. Chang will share insight into the original blueprints by Williams, which are still in Founders possession.
