During the month of November, many celebrations and presentations are given to recognize and thank veterans for service rendered to help save the country’s freedom.

On Saturday, November 25, three Ladera Top Teens honored a family veteran with a “Hero’s Breakfast” at the Serving Spoon Restaurant. After enjoying a delicious breakfast and entertaining guests, the Teens presented a Thank You Certificate to each of the heroes.

Teen Isaiah Charles honored his uncle Hero Derek Gentry. The family guests included the hero’s mother, aunt, sister and niece.

Teen Rylan Crawford was excited to honor his cousin, Hero Steen Crawford. Unfortunately, he was not able to attend. Rylan presented the hero’s mother, Ms. Erna, with the Thank You Certificate.
