Shirley Kitt Calloway was born in St. George, South Carolina. Shirley was a Dream Chaser who had huge odds against her.
Coming from humble beginnings, she had the burning desire to be successful. She set out many years ago with the determination and ambition to document the positive lifestyles, and formulas for success of super achievers.
She left St George for greater opportunities, moving to New York, where she leaved and raised her children for decades. After many years in New York and the launch of her production company, Shirley continued to be on her path for her own success.
She moved to Puerto Rico where she build her philanthropic work, living there for over two decades. She later moved to Atlanta to continue her work.
Shirley’s pursuit of her dream led to the production of historic, global media broadcast programs. Featuring real life success stories of role models, and super achievers. She developed the broadcast phenomenon dubbed, Color It Success. Her program has received the Gold Seal of Excellence from the Hollywood Film and Television Advisory Committee.
Shirley’s fun and beautiful journey privileged her to document success stories of astronauts, brain surgeons, athletes, entertainers’ celebrities, and ordinary people doing extraordinary things. All of whom helped to shape her mind for success.
The unique, timely and hot concept is designed to now motivate others, through tried-and-true real life success stories. The audience will learn how they too can live a Color it Success story.
Shirley is preceded in death by three siblings, James, Franklin and Anna Mae. She is survived by her three adult children, Melvin, Cosandra, Cedoildon; four grandchildren, Jamell Dante (Sada), Anthony, Elijah, and Darius; three great grandchildren, Jaden, King, and King Jamell; brothers, Alfonso, Fredrick, and Samuel; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
