On Monday, Nov. 21, New Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church and DoorDash hosted a Thanksgiving food giveaway. With DoorDash’s partnership, the church was able to feed more than 300 families for the holidays with turkeys and side dishes. Turning Point, a nonprofit dedicated to reentry, also partnered with DoorDash and the church on the event and brought volunteers to pass out the food. People were able to walk up to receive a donation bag, or simply drive through. (Courtesy photo)
