Looking forward to in the Transfiguration Catholic Church, located at 2515 W. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive in Los Angeles, will provide an occasion of complete and solid enjoyment, at its Annual Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 17, at 7:00 pm..
“A great musical ensemble and strings will accompany the singing of traditional and newly composed Christmas songs properly emphasize this year’s theme, ‘Baby Jesus: The God of All Gods,’” said Oscar Pratt, the choir conductor and director.
“This year’s concert will be inclusive of several decades that the choir has successfully presented excellent performances, which included such talents as the Church’s Children Choir and Praise Dancers as well as original musical renditions by our dynamic musicians,” Pratt stated.
Santa is expected to strut down the aisle distributing candy goodies while the choir leads him on in jolly good musical fashion.
Transfiguration Church is noted for successful presentations of various religious activities such as the recent hosting by Chapter 220 of the 100th Year Anniversary Celebration of the Knights of Peter Claver, an African-American lay organization originally formed in Mobile, AL.
Following each Christmas Concert, guests usually depart with joy and satisfaction and head for the Church’s reception hall for tasty refreshments.
