The Inauguration of Whittier College President Linda Oubré

The Poet community came together this past Saturday to celebrate the inauguration of Linda Oubré as the 15th President of Whittier College.

Filled with hundreds of students, alumni, faculty, elected officials, and invited guests, the Graham Athletics Center (GAC) was dressed in black velvet drapery, elegant lighting, and festive purple banners proudly displaying the College’s seal.

Metrolink Board Names Stephanie Wiggins as Chief Executive Officer

The Board of Directors of Metrolink today named Stephanie Wiggins Metrolink’s Chief Executive Officer. Wiggins is currently the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro).

Linda Oubré Named President of Whittier College

Linda Oubré, Ed.D. has been appointed Whittier College’s 15th president and will take office on July 1. Oubré will succeed Sharon D. Herzberger, who will retire on June 30 after 13 years as president.
