As Los Angeles begins to recover from the devastation of the pandemic, Mayor Eric Garcetti took time out of his very busy schedule to sit down with the Los Angeles Sentinel to directly address those issues which are impacting the lives of African Americans, communities of color, and those most severely affected by COVID-19.

Music, Carnival Rides, Food Trucks at Culver City’s Fiesta La Ballona August 24-26 2018 at Veterans Park 

Culver City’s Fiesta La Ballona will be held August 24-26, 2018 at Veterans Park which is located at 4117 Overland Avenue in Culver City. This spectacular summer festival features live performances, carnival rides and games, pony rides and petting zoo, a beer and wine garden, food trucks and a food court, vendor booths showcasing local groups and artisan wares, an aquacade at the Culver City Municipal Plunge, and an interactive sustainability information booth. The Opening Ceremony, with members of the Culver City City Council, will occur on August 24 at 6:00 p.m. in the Fiesta Entertainment Tent. The ceremony will include special performances by Ballet Folklorico de El Marino and The Actors’ Gang.
